SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS WITH MUSHROOM RAGU

Ingredients for 4 people:
1 pack of Sipo Mushroom Ragu
half a red onion
400 g of minced veal
300 g of tomato sauce
basil
2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
320 g of spaghetti1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
30 g of honey
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 egg
salt
pepper and nutmeg

Meatball preparation: in a mixer add the minced meat with half of the mushrooms contained in the Sipo Mushroom Rag├╣ pack, add the egg, blend together to obtain a homogeneous mixture, then add the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and chopped parsley. Use your hands, it helps if hands are damp, to form the meatballs, and place them aside in a dish.

Sauce preparation: cut the onion into tiny cubes and brown with oil in a large pan. Add the tomato sauce, the carrot and the celery (contained in the Sipo Mushroom Ragu) cut into small pieces and cook with a lid over a moderate flame for 20 minutes. Halfway through cooking add the remaining half of the mushrooms in the Sipo Mushroom Ragu pack, previously rinsed and cut into small pieces, and add the meatballs. Complete cooking and in the meantime boil the spaghetti. Once the spaghetti is cooked, season with the mushroom ragu and the meatballs.
