Green flat beans are a type of bean having a light green color and a wide flat shape, they are known by different names, such as snow pea or sugar pea, but most people refer to them as (eat whole pea) because all their parts are edible so there is no need to remove them from their pod before eating them.
They are tender but remain crisp, they have an intense but delicate taste, and they fill you up although they do not contain much fat nor calories. Mangetouts should not be eaten just for their delicious taste, but also for their extraordinary nutritional benefits.
Not only do they have a high content of vegetable protein, which makes them a perfect alternative to meat, they are also rich of fiber, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorous, vitamin C and K.
